Shipping Policy

Last Updated: September 11, 2026

1. Who pays for shipping

Outbound shipping is paid by the buyer. Shipping is not free unless we explicitly state a promotion on a specific order.

2. How shipping is calculated

Shipping cost is calculated during checkout based on destination, package weight and dimensions, and the selected carrier service. The amount shown at checkout before you place the order is the shipping charge for that shipment.

3. Customer labels and shipping accounts

We also support:

  • Customer-provided labels: you may supply a prepaid shipping label for outbound or return shipments when we agree in writing before dispatch.
  • Customer shipping accounts: with your written authorization, we can charge freight to your carrier account (for example UPS, FedEx, or DHL). You remain responsible for account charges, accessorial fees, and duties or taxes.

Contact [email protected] before checkout if you want to use a label or account billing arrangement.

4. Handling and transit times

  • Handling: stocked catalog products and kits typically ship within 1–3 business days after payment clears, subject to stock and order checks.
  • Transit: once handed to the carrier, delivery is typically 3–10 business days depending on destination and service level. International shipments may take longer for customs clearance.
  • Custom or made-to-order cores follow quoted production lead times before shipping begins.

5. Destinations

We ship to customers worldwide where carriers and export rules allow. Primary online checkout destinations include the United States, Canada, and India. Duties, taxes, and brokerage fees for international orders are the buyer’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Packaging

Nanocrystalline cores are brittle after annealing. We use protective packaging suited to magnetic cores. See our packaging and shipping article for more detail.

7. Related policies

Returns and refunds are described in our Returns Policy. General terms are in our Terms of Service.
