What are the key specifications of your nanocrystalline cores?
Typical envelope: permeability about 70k–90k μi, operating frequency from roughly 10 kHz to 1 MHz depending on design, temperature range about -40°C to +155°C for coated parts, core loss on the order of max 30 W/kg @ 50 kHz and 0.15 T, with epoxy, PBT, and SS band finishes. Each SKU publishes its own AL, Ae/Le, and dimensions.
How do I select the right nanocrystalline core for my application?
Start with a prototyping kit when you need several nearby sizes on the bench. Use CMC cores for EMI suppression, CT cores for Class 0.2s metering and protection, power cores for EV chargers and PFC, mini cores for space-constrained designs, specialty cores for automotive, and DIY cores for adjustable experiments. Prefer stocked PBT toroids or cut cores when you need published photos and pack pricing; otherwise request a quote for made-to-order sizes.
Do you provide custom nanocrystalline core designs?
Yes. We design custom nanocrystalline cores for your dimensions, frequency, power level, gap, and performance targets. Send application details through the quote form for engineering review.
What is the lead time for nanocrystalline cores?
Stocked catalog SKUs and kits ship from inventory when buyable. Standard made-to-order cores typically take 2–4 weeks; custom designs may take 4–8 weeks depending on complexity. Contact us for a SKU-specific lead time.
What certifications and standards apply?
Cores are manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 processes, support designs aligned with IEC and IEEE practices (for example IEC 61869-2 for CT metering where applicable), and meet RoHS and REACH environmental requirements. Every batch includes magnetic testing before shipment.
